What do you remember of the events surrounding Hurricane Katrina?

Some of the events I remember about Hurricane Katrina is that it devastated New Orleans. Also, it took a very long time to restore New Orleans back to its original state.
it happened in new orleans. in the year of 2005. it flooded and destroyed most of the houses there. the people were scared and didnt know what to do. then many people were killed. some of the living citzens were holding signs so the red cross could see them.
the events I remember that had surrounding hurricane katrina was that it was bad because it destroyed mostly anything in its way that was near or at the scene of the problem. Also that it devastated in New Orleans.
I remember that it took a long time for the preseident and the governer to take action in trying to build new houses. The hurricane keep alot of people out of their homes they had to live in the dome,which only held out for a little while and then the roof started to come off. Still today they have not completely brought back all the things that were lost. Many lives were lost and people are still grieveing today. The after of Katrina is still there,only a few homes have been restored.
The events i remember from Hurricane Katrina is that a lot of people were killed and left many homeless. I remember seeing a lot of it on the news almost every day until it ended
The events i remember from the treatourous even in New Orleans,(Hurricane Katrina).A lot of homes were destroyed because of hurricane katrina.You still hear about this tragedy as of today.Hurricane katrina cause a lot of damage to the heart of New Orleans.
What i have heard is that it flooded, and destroyed many houses. Many people died or got sick.

I know that a lot of people were killed and some were hurt in New Orleans.Hurricane Katrina made landfall on the Gulf Coast, destroying lives, leveling homes and leaving thousands of survivors.
The hurricane hit in the year of 2005.To add it pulled up homes and berok beillding in two.Also it left meany poeple homeless and flooded the aery of New Oerlens for days.
The Hurricane Katrina took down a lot of houses. When the hurricane happened people were really scared. This happened in 2005 when many souls died in New Orleans. The water went everywhere and people lost many things of there belongings. They had to sleep in domes and many places cause they had lost there homes.
I kow that many familys had been destroyed . Homes were damage in the hurricane . poeple lost their homes and family
